Year 1996---Invited by the Taiwanese Buddhist Association to create and draw portraits of ‘Guan Yu’ for 52 temples;
Year 1997---Invited to design and paint a large Chinese “Flowers Blooming” for the Hong Kong’s return to China’s sovereignty.
Year 2000---Invited to participate in Korea’s Art Exhibition, rewarded the ‘Qiu Shi Award’.
Year 2010---Invited by the Ministry of Defense, Singapore, to create the large-scale Chinese painting “Zong Heng Tian Yu”.
June 2012---Invited to the First Artist Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition “Light Up the Heart * Brighten one’s action” organized by the Taoist Association of China to create and donate the large-scale Chinese figure painting “Lao Tzu Chu Guan”, a peak work of present age in the name of charity.
August 2012---Invited by the Military Region of Jinan to create the large-scale landscape painting ”Jiang Shan Duo Jiao”
November 2012---Invited by a certain Ministry and Commission to create the large-scale landscape painting “Zi Qi Dong Lai”.
December 2012---Invited to attend the “Song of Paintings---Shandong Famous Artists Guest Exhibition”, two of the artworks were very well-received with high Art reviews.
April 2013---Invited to Beijing to attend the “Voice of Spring Grace of Strokes International Artists Social Gathering and Exchange activity” and painted on the spot which was well-received and spoked highly of by the Executive Leaders from the organizers and the professionals.
July 2013---Invited to Zi Bo, Shandong one of the famous ceramic capital of China and created the “Mo Yun Ci Feng” series of ceramic works. This unique artistic form of expression and the high level of appreciation value has attracted wide concerns from collectors worldwide.
September 2013---Invited to “China’s Fourth Hong Gao Liang Cultural Festival’s Opening Ceremony”, and attended the Calligraphy and Chinese Paintings Exhibition at the Cultural Festival. The unique symbolic forms of Art expression has attracted and won the hearts of many lovers of Calligraphy and Chinese paintings.
February 2014---Created the “Greatest Artists in the Hundred Years” series with the vivid use of traditional Chinese painting’s ink as the form of Art expression, over the period of one month. This series has an elegant touch to it which tugs the heartstring of many. With the exquisite brushstroke techniques and profound Artworks brings a new a fresh image to the public.
20 September 2014---Sun Dawei’s Chinese painting artworks collection exhibition “Qing Huai Wu Wo, Da Bi Wei Ran” opening ceremony held at the Shandong Yi Wen Xuan Art Gallery. This exhibition displayed a total of 40 art pieces which includes Chinese figure paintings with ink, traditional Figure paintings, Splash color paintings(make use of contrasting colors) and traditional Chinese painting. These paintings displayed unique skills and personality. Paintings that vividly use make of colors attracted many attention from the viewers. The exquisite craftsmanship bought out the uniqueness of each artwork, made each one of them not duplicable.
8 March 2015---Invited to Beijing and attend the “Dance of Art-2015 Chinese New Year Famous Artists Art Exhibition” organized by Beijing Art Museum incorporate with the Jin Ye(Beijing) Cultural Development co.,Ltd and Wu Chuan Lin Art Operating Committee. A total of 11 art pieces were displayed including Chinese figure painting, Splash Colors Paintings and Paintings on Ceramics. The representing works are the Splash Colors Paintings, which attracted the most attention of viewers and collectors. This exhibition allows the lovers of calligraphy and painting and collectors to experience multicultural and the quintessence of art appreciation, at the same time encouraged the flourish of the present age’s art and cultural.
25 April 2015---“Yu Jian Ming Jia-Da Zhong Net Talk series Sun Dawei” officially opened at Jinan Zi Teng Art Gallery, organized by Da Zhong Net, Shandong Modern Art Research Institute, Zi Teng Art Gallery, Spring of Jinan Cultural Media Co.,Ltd and Big K Cultural Communication Co.,Ltd. Attendants of the activity are famous entrepreneur, Art reviewers, collectors and other well know people.
8 May 2015---Invited by the famous Tai Chi Master Mister Hong Seng(descendant of the Chen style Tai chi) to Ri Zhao to attend the opening ceremony of “2015 China * The Fourth Wu Lian Da Qing Mountain’s international Tai Chi Competition”. Sketched with ink in 5 minutes for the Overseas In-Charge of Chen style Tai Chi’s Mister Chen Zhong Hua( Chairman on the board of International Cheng Zhong Hua Tai Chi Martial Arts School, Dean of the international Hun Yuan Tai Chi Martial Arts School) which demonstrates traditional Chinese Painting’s craftsmanship and the perfect combination of modern sketch.
11 June 2015---Invited to Jing De Zhen to attend the opening of kiln door ceremony of “Wood Kiln”( head of all kilns). Artist used ceramics as paper, glaze as ink to create amazing artworks. Everyone attended the event was astounded by the beauty of the beautiful ceramic art pieces.
